A walk to Meiji Shrine and Harajuku

Today after our morning class in a classroom in the Olympic Village Sports Building we all walked through Yoyogi Park to the Meiji Shrine. We are fortunate that the park is right beside the Olympic Village campus.

Once at the shrine we looked around and some students even hung wooden plaques with their personal wish or prayer while others observed the architecture of the shrine.

It was hard not to leave without the classic group photo at the shrine.

Immediately next door to the shrine and park is Harajuku where students were excited to walk down the well known Takeshita Dori(street) full of teen fashion shops and crepe stores before walking back home for dinner and hot baths.
